Ivan Grohar Gallery

The Ivan Grohar Gallery hosts an annual series of five exhibitions titled Contemporary Tendencies with a well-thought-out display, curatorial texts, well-educated gallery attendants, as well as an accompanying programme with an emphasis on the artists and the presentation of their respective artistic processes. The exhibition series aims to give a comprehensive and meticulous presentation of the phenomenon of interdisciplinarity in contemporary artistic practices and break down the prejudices about contemporary art. Two of the five artists and exhibition projects are selected every year together with the Škofja Loka Artists’ Association.
